She did her masters’ both in Economics and Law.
She is UGC NET qualified in Economics and has the prestigious Accountant Technician Certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has the Lifetime Membership of Indian Accounting Association. She feels combining Law and Economics has widened her learning. Undertaking the rigorous Chartered Accountancy training, working in an International company (100% EOU) and as a Project Manager have widened the spectrum of her thinking
While working as a Professor in UPES, she was a core team member to initiate MBA in Logistics & MBA in International Business in 2008.
She has authored books on ‘Economics for Law Students’ and co-authored ‘Hydrocarbons: An Overview of Exploration & Production Sector’ and ‘Oil & Gas: India, Middle East and Beyond’. She has written numerous research papers and has attended and participated in various International and National Conferences and has also chaired sessions there. She has received various awards from the many places she has worked before, such as recognition for setting up Skill Development Training Centre in Ahmedabad in 2018 in record time, recognition for bringing out the first copy of ‘Securitization Asia – an international finance journal’ in record time of 4 months in 2016, Outstanding Contribution in Respective Area received in February, 2013 from University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), Five Years Dedicated Service Award in November, 2013 from UPES, Most Devoted Teacher for the year 2008-09 from UPES and Certificate of Excellent Work for working in Unison School of Law in 2007.
Being a passionate artist, she believes that whatever happens in life is for a higher purpose and one should think only what one chooses to experience, say what one chooses to make real and do only what one chooses to demonstrate as one’s higher reality. The thoughts lead us to actions and actions to results. Hard work and consistency have to be the two pillars of one’s achievement.
